What are your motives?
A lot has been said about the skills and talents candidates should possess so that they become successful employees.
Some organizations say they are looking for strong hard skills others that they focus more on communication and people skills and so on. For sure, soft skills gain more and more traction as the years go by.
I have been involved in dozens of hiring processes throughout the years and I have concluded that people with strong motives are the ones that will make an impact straight ahead no matter if they are juniors, seniors, or whatever.
Why? Because they want it hugely so every cell in their system works hard toward this direction to make it happen.
Find such motivated people, give them the right tools to do the job, offer them coaching and mentoring, provide freedom, and watch them grow before your eyes.
